Journaling

On this page, you will find a place for me to pour out my thoughts. Sometimes when the thoughts become overwhelming, you just have to get them out. Other times, you might be so happy about something that you can’t wait to share it with everyone! Either way, everyone has thoughts that can keep them awake at night, for good or bad reasons and sharing them might just help someone know that they aren’t alone.

Journaling is a way to capture those thoughts and feelings, and also helps to keep those memories alive. Although, somethings you might not want to remember, by being open and willing to share things you’ve been through, you may help someone else that could be going through the same thing.

I remember having a diary as a young girl. I would write whichever boy’s name I liked at the time all over it and fill it with all kinds of thoughts and events that took place surrounding them. Now that I’m older I know that life is about more than your current crush. All the ins and outs of life make it more intense than the classic “Does he like me back?” Sometimes I wish I could go back to those simpler times when all I had to worry about was what color polo shirt, I was going to wear to school the next day. Unfortunately, that’s not how life works. Journaling this way can be a way for me to help teach my daughter the things I wish I would have known back then, or help keep her from some of the things that could hurt her.

Below you’ll find the links to read these journal entries. Feel free to browse through and leave a comment. They could be about a specific person, place, event or maybe just a mix of things that happened in a day. I would love to know your thoughts and especially know if something I shared helped you in one way or another.
